Bashir Ahmad has been associated with the banking industry for over two decades and has held Senior Management positions in Wealth Management and Private Investment Banking with ABN AMRO, ING N.V. and Bank of Singapore.

Abbas Yousafzai has been associated with the banking and financial Industry for almost 25 years. Prior to joining Halkin’s he was a Managing Director with Bank of Singapore where he spent 7 Years. Prior to that he was with ABN Amro Bank for almost 15 years in roles such as Market Head for the NRP Business, Head of Islamic Finance, Head of Distribution and Wealth Management. He also worked with ANZ Grindlays Bank in Credit and Operations for almost 5 years.

​Michal has expertise in Legal and Compliance area. Holding a Law degree and a Master's in law, and currently completing his PhD in Law, Michal brings a rigorous academic and practical approach to structuring secured lending transactions. He oversees all legal due diligence, loan documentation, and security perfection processes, ensuring that every facility is compliant, robust, and enforceable. His close collaboration with external counsel and counterparties ensures that all transactions meet the highest standards of legal integrity and regulatory compliance while maintaining a commercial approach.

Krishan Patel
Krishan Patel brings over 18 years of experience in Credit and Structured Finance. After graduating from City University, he began his career at Deutsche Bank as a Credit Risk Analyst, covering Financial Institutions in London and Hedge Funds in New York. He has since held key roles at Barclays, Investec, Morgan Stanley, Nomura, and S&P.
In 2018, Krishan joined Castellan to lead its Global Infrastructure, Real Estate and Renewable, division, where he has successfully structured and financed projects across EMEA, North America, and Africa.
